What the extension is for
The AdvisorReach Connector is a small browser extension that completes a sign-in you started with your AdvisorReach assistant. When a customer's assistant connects a third-party service on their behalf, that service's OAuth flow needs to send an authorization code back to something listening in the browser. The assistant itself runs in the cloud, not in the browser, so it cannot receive that redirect directly. The extension exists to catch it and hand it off.
What the extension does not do
The extension stores no personal data. It sends nothing to AdvisorReach's own servers. It has no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, and it does not load or execute any remote code. Everything it runs ships in the reviewed package.
What it handles, and for how long
During an active sign-in, the extension holds the OAuth authorization code only for the moment it takes to pass it along to the customer's own AdvisorReach assistant. It is not written to any persistent store, not logged, and not retained once that single handoff completes. Between sign-ins the extension holds nothing.
Why it asks for the permissions it asks for
The Firefox listing reports required access to advisorreach.ai and optional access to localhost/127.0.0.1 and *.boxes.advisorreach.ai. These permissions support capturing an OAuth redirect that a cloud-hosted assistant cannot receive on its own.
